I LOVED this book. I was kinda... skeptical going into it because of it being a chick flick in book-form. But I loved it.
Nora is a 16 year old whose father was murdered a year before everything starts. She lives outside town with her mother who travels a lot. Her best friend's name is Vee, and she ir really funny (at the beginning, at the end I hated her). Everything is "normal" and then she meets Patch.
A hot, dark, dangerous guy who know exactly what she is thinking all the time.
Attacks start to happen and her world is upside down again.
I loved this book. A page turner. Specially I love Patch. Who is witty: (in the middle of Biology class) "The blood vessels in Nora's face are widening and her skin is warming," Patch said. "She knows she's being evaluated. She likes the attention, but she's not sure how to handle it." (P: 37.)
Even I blushed with this.
Things start to get out of control. Things start happening. Things disappear. And they blame Patch:
"I know you don't want to hear this. But the more I think about it, the more similarities I find between Patch and my attacker." (P:162.)
But... the love story is amazing. There is this dark attraction between them. I love it. "On a scale of on e to ten, that terrified me about an eight. And exited me about a nine." (P:284.)
Amazing book. Amazing plot. Amazing.
Just finished it!
6/5
